The Acorn Equality Fund Board of Directors is pleased to announce the 2011 Annual Family Breakfast, to be held Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the Embrassy Suites in East Peoria, Illinois. Doors will open promptly at 8:30 AM. The Board graciously requests your support of this event by attending and bringing along your partner, date, family, or friends. If you are unable to attend our annual event, we still welcome your donation of support.
The Acorn Equality Fund (AEF) is a grassroots 501c (3) not-for-profit organization that provides financial support for the advancement of education, health, and civil rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) persons and their allies in downstate Illinois. Family Breakfast 2010 is an event intended to celebrate scholarship recipient achievements and to raise funds for future scholarships.
This year we are proud to once again host Bradley University's nationally recognized Speech Team as our entertainment. Their presentation is specifically written for this event.
Tickets are $25 each or $250 for a table of 10. Tickets can be purchased by contacting acorn1999@gmail.com.
