Embassy Suites East Peoria Saturday, December 7, 2019 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. with breakfast beginning at 9:00 a.m. Bring your partner, spouse, guest, family, and friends. It is truly a family—and family-friendly—event!

For 20 years, the Acorn Equality Fund has been dedicated to advancing the education, health, and civil rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered persons and their allies throughout downstate Illinois. Our annual Family Breakfast celebrates the achievements of our LGBT and allied students through the awarding of scholarships. It is also our primary fundraising event to support future scholarships.
These are challenging times for LGBT persons—and for so many marginalizezd groups. The Family Breakfast is a chance for us to come together as a community, to support and empower one another, to promote education and awareness, and to celebrate the accomplishments and aspirations of the youngest members of our community.
Your support of this event is important, and we sincerely hope you will attend. Together with caring persons like you, we can make a significant difference in the lives of LGBT students and their allies in downstate Illinois.

Saturday, May 2, 2020 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. Watch Kentucky Derby races in real-time. Enjoy elegant hors d'oeuvres. Play games and win fabulous prizes—including prizes for Best Hat and Best Bow Tie. Full Kentucky Derby apparel is encouraged! More information and tickets will be available in March 2020.
