What is the Acorn Equality Fund?
Acorn Equality Fund provides opportunities for scholarships and grants to Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender (GLBT) persons, organizations and allies in Illinois' downstate counties.
Acorn Equality Fund is a 501(c)(3) Not-for-Profit Corporation. Please consult your tax advisor on any gift to the Fund. Scholarships and grants up to $4,000 are available to students and organizations. Apply here.

The application for 2010 scholarships is now available for download! Scholarships are
designed to provide academic financial support for gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered
students, allies or the children of gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered parents. The 2010
scholarships range from $1000 to $4,000 with up to $20,000 being disbursed. Click "Scholarships and Grants" link at top.

The Acorn Equality Fund breakfast is an annual event where scholarship winners are announced and money is raised for future scholarship and grant recipients. For more information or to buy tickets, please email the Acorn Equality Fund. Tickets are $25 each or you can buy a table for 8 for $200.
